  1. What is the major advantage of using licensing as a market entry tool?
  2. What is the major disadvantage of using licensing as a marketing entry tool?
  3. Analyze how keiretsu might affect a small company that is trying to compete with a Japanese competitor or that is trying to enter the Japanese market.
  4.  Which market entry option would you recommend for a small tea company, such as Azure Sky Tea? (ie. Licensing, foreign direct investment, or strategic alliance)

Examples then might be:
• Set Text: Hill, C.W., Cronk. T. & R. Wickramasekera (2014), 3rd ed. Global Business Today: an Asia-Pacific Perspective, McGraw-Hill, Sydney.
• Journal: Journal of International Business Studies, Management International Review, or International Business Review.
• Web site: Company sites of respective companies give insights into what they are doing.
• Newspaper reports: The daily newspapers in Australia are The Australian, Australian Financial Review, (both available in ILC at QUTIC). The Sydney Morning Herald, Adelaide Advertiser, West Australian News are not locally sourced, but along with The Wall Street Journal from New York, all are available in the Gardens Point library.
